Digital Competencies

Developing digital competencies at Miina Härma Gümnaasium

At Miina Härma Gümnaasium, digital competencies are taught as an integrated part of the curriculum to ensure systematic teaching of digital skills and integration with subject knowledge. The digital competencies curriculum has been designed across all school levels to ensure the gradual acquisition of sub-skills. The digital competencies curriculum is based on the Student’s Digital Competences Model issued by the Education and Yourh Board of Estonia. It covers the four main thematic areas addressed in the development of digital competencies:

  • Information and data literacy
  • Communication and collaboration in the digital environment
  • Creation of digital content

The Digital Competencies Curriculum of Miina Härma Gümnaasium is currently being updated and will be published HERE as soon as possible.

Miina Härma Gümnaasium has also developed a uniform guide for written assignments, supporting information and data literacy development across all school levels.
