Traditional events at Miina Härma Gümnaasium
- Tamme relay run– relay run between classes in the honour of the oak tree planted in Karu Park
- celebrating the school’s birthday
- celebrating the Citizenship Day
- advent concert at the Aula of the University of Tartu
- Christmas parties– traditional class parties with fun themes
- Christmas church service and concert– held after the Christmas parties at Pauluse Church
- The Contest of Five Schools – the competition of science subjects between Hugo Treffner Gümnaasium, Tamme Gümnaasium, Nõo Reaalgümnaasium, Viljandi Carl Robert Jakobson Gümnaasium and MHG
- celebrating the anniversary of the birth of Miina Härma – February 9th is the anniversary of Miina Härma’s birth which is celebrated together with the graduate students who give lessons on that day
- Valentine’s Day– a day with Amor post and love songs
- celebrating the Europe Day
- a spring concert at Vanemuise Concert House– the joint performance of actors, dancers and singers for parents and graduates
- spring orienteering day – a whole-school sports day in the open air together with the teachers and the parents
- the Head of School’s reception – an honorary event for students who have participated actively in promoting the school life and representing the school o competitions or have made remarkable contributions to the community or other areas
